AfriHUB ICT Institute is a Federal government-licensed institute, and certified by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to award National Innovation Diplomas in Software Engineering and Network & Systems Security. These are two-year programs after which, successful candidates are certified as competent practitioners in any one of the track fields.

In partnership with NCC Education, UK, we also offer International Diploma programmes (a perfect blend of the National and Foreign partner Universities curricula) for undergraduates in the fields of Business, Business Information Technology, and Computing.

These diplomas are equivalent to years 1 and 2 of a 3-year UK degree programme and students can further their education by either completing the third year via an online degree which is facilitated by the institute or going over to the UK to complete their studies.

We are positioned to assist prospective and registered students in choosing the right courses, training and certification that is right for them. Level 4 Diploma in Computing Software Engineering
The NCC Education level 4 Diploma in Computing (RQF) (L4DC) makes up the first year of the NCC Education degree journey. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of an IT degree qualification in the UK University system. You will be given the opportunity to develop essential thinking and study skills, through a balance of academic and vocational subjects. The qualification will allow you to understand and enter the computing profession with the necessary knowledge expected within the industry and the ability to apply the set skills to a range of IT related functions. On successful completion of the qualification you will be able to progress to NCC education level 5 diploma in computing (RQF) (L5DC), which is equivalent to the second year of a UK bachelor’s degree, transfer to a university or pursue a career in the IT industry.

Level 4 Diploma in Business Administration
The level 4 Diploma in business (RQF) (L4DC) makes up the first year of the NCC education business degree journey. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of business degree qualification in the UK university system. You will be introduced to the many different aspects of international business in today’s world. You will be introduced to both academic and vocational aspects of a wide range of subjects, enabling you to gain the necessary knowledge and skills vital for a career in business or further studies. On successful completion of the qualification you will be able to continue your studies on the NCC education level 5 diploma in business (RQF) (L5DB) or at a UK university, or work in one of the many areas of the business world.

Level 4 Diploma in Business Information Technology
The level 4 diploma in business information technology (RQF) (L4DBIT) makes up the first year of the NCC Education degree journey. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of an IT degree qualification in the UK university system. You will be given the opportunity to develop essential thinking and study skills in IT and business through a balance of academic and vocational subjects. You will be able to contribute to the development of computer systems and networks, databases and websites in a business context, whilst also developing an awareness of business needs. The programme will allow you to understand and enter the IT and business profession with the necessary knowledge expected within the industry and the ability to apply the skills to a range of it related functions On successful completion of the qualification you will be able to embark on NCC education level 5 diploma in business information technology (RQF) (L5DBIT) which is equivalent to the second year of UK bachelor’s degree. Prof. Manny C. Aniebonam
President/CEO

Professor Manny C. Aniebonam has more than 27 years of experience in information technologies and technical training, having served in senior positions with major US companies and nationally recognized universities. He is currently the President/CEO of AfriHUB Nigeria Ltd.

A Doctoral Degree holder in Computer Science and Systems Engineering, he is the Founder and President of the Nigerian IT Professionals in the Americas (NITPA) and board member of several ICT companies. Prior professional affiliations include The George Washington University, where he was a Professor of Information Systems and Computer Science; Howard University, Washington DC, Mobil Oil Corporation and the World Bank. He has several refereed publications and books to his credit. He is currently the global partner, Abuja Study Center (AfriHUB-Global Distance Learning Institute , CBD, Abuja)

Mr Ibrahim Salifu
Center Manager

Engineer Salifu Ibrahim is a service operation manager with over 18 years in the successful delivery of result-oriented professional skills in the fields of ICT and engineering. He has been involved in the direction of various ICT projects from inception to execution and is an expert in the management of technical support operations. Mr. Ibrahim holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Bayero University, Kano and a Masters Degree in Information Technology. He has over 27 years of post-graduate teaching experience, he is keen on constantly improving on operational processes and has a history of implementing new procedures and technologies to strengthen the educational sector.

Dr. Emmanuel Ikechukwu Orakwue
Lecturer

Dr. Emmanuel Ikechukwu Orakwue has a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield UK. He also has a Ph. D in Retail Banking from London South Bank University, London, UK. He has taught in the UK for years before returning to Nigeria. He is proficient in Corporate Planning and Strategic Development, policy decision making, monitoring and evaluation, research methods and economic development. Dr. Orakwue was a Director of Academic programs at Abuja Graduate School, Abuja. He worked at the National Open University as an academic work supervisor. Presently, Dr. Orakwue is a senior lecturer in Global Distance Learning Institute (GDLI) Abuja. He has some referred conference papers and publication to his accomplishment.

Mr. George Nganya
Lecturer

Mr. George Nganya has a demonstrated history of working in the Information Technology, engineering and services industry. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer/ Physics (Combined Hons) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Middlesex University London, United Kingdom. He also holds other professional qualifications in Management of Information Systems and Administrative Management, and has attended several workshops and seminars. He has a passion for technology and engineering, and has published related academic research articles in International Journals. George has also held several roles in the United Kingdom and is currently working as the Training Manager in AfriHUB Nigeria Limited.

Admission Requirements for any Programme:

You must:

  3. Birth Certificate
  4. Medical Certificate of Fitness ( From a recognized Govt. Hospital)
  5. Letter of Motivation (ie, what motivated you to choose the course you want to study)
  6. Originals of all credential for sighting.
  7. Recent passport photograph.

All applicants are required to write an admissions test to assess literacy and numeracy and must submit test results with their application.
